BBC Collaborative Ideas Workshop

A team from BBC's connected studio will be holding Collaborative Ideas Workshop at the CcHub on Monday, January 18, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM(WAT)  to generate ideas for digital tools and products that better distribute News to African audiences, and increase the reach in ways that are relevant to these markets.
Successful teams will not only be paid to build pilots but will receive further resource and help to develop skills at an international level.

Do Android Dev? Google Wants To Work Closely With You

The Android studio team, led by Stephanie Saad is building  building a Customer Advisory Board that will work very closely with the team in order to build the best IDE in the world. 
We are looking for developers  (form small, medium and big companies, working on different verticals i.e utilities, games, education, travel, productivity etc.)who are building for Android and are willing to come to MountainView on January 15th to kickoff the program and work with the team throughout 2016. 
This includes not only getting early access to Android Studio releases but also a great opportunity to get your voice heard and suggest new features to Android Studio. 
We will invite select group of developers to meet in person with Android Studio engineers and product managers. All expenses (flight, hotel, etc.) paid of course!
